Founded in 1902
The Ohga Yakkyoku Group

In October 2025, the group adopted a holding-company structure led by Ohga Holdings.

Under this structure, the group’s companies, with Ohga Yakkyoku at their core, continue to develop their businesses, primarily in Fukuoka.

Ohga Holdings’ commitment to being part of the community and building a company our children can be proud of reflects my own beliefs.

Taking the trust and quality nurtured by our communities in Fukuoka and Kyushu to the world.

This ambition expresses our desire to build new business together with the communities that have supported us.

We advance the Ohga Yakkyoku Group’s overseas business and trade, with a focus on Malaysia and halal markets, where I have close personal connections.

Wholesalers and manufacturers in Fukuoka and Kyushu who work with our group have repeatedly shared the same challenge: a shortage of people, experience and sales know-how for overseas business.

We aim to help companies without an overseas sales department take their next step into the world. By bringing our region’s outstanding products and aspirations to new markets, we strive to build a company our children can be proud of.

ChairmanTakahiro Ohga

Graduated from Tokyo University of Science in 2006. President and Representative Director of Ohga Holdings and Ohga Yakkyoku, and a director of all companies under Ohga Holdings.

President & Representative DirectorMasato Nakata

After graduating from Tokyo University of Science in 2008, joined a major general trading company and worked in steel exports, including a US assignment in 2013–2014. Later invested in and managed ventures in overseas expansion support, including halal certification, as well as international recruitment, inbound travel, food service and IT. Founded Ohga Corporation in 2019 and became Representative Director. Also serves as an Executive Officer of Ohga Holdings.

DirectorAkmal Abu Hassan

Selected as the top graduate among 20,000 government-sponsored students under Malaysia’s Look East Policy. Joined the Bank of Tokyo (now MUFG Bank) in 1995 and Malaysia’s Ministry of International Trade and Industry in 1998. Became Assistant Director of MATRADE Osaka in 2005. Founded Malaysia Halal Corporation in 2010 and the Muslim Professionals Japan Association in 2014. A pioneer of halal certification in Japan.

DirectorRazally Affandy

Graduated from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia in 1995 and completed a Master of Technology Management at Tokyo University of Science in 2014. Studied in Japan under Malaysia’s Look East Policy scholarship programme. Built approximately 20 years of experience in Japan’s IT industry, including Oracle Japan, before becoming president of the Malaysian company of Ohga Yakkyoku and Ohga Corporation.
